Friday Focus- Badger Bestie

 


Hello and Happy Friday! I am glad you stopped by for another Friday Focus. I CASED this card from page 86 of the 2021-+2022 Annual Catalog. 
The Bager Besties is such a cute animal stamp set and it is on the last chance list.
I also used the 6x6 color family Designer series papers. These are on the last chance list and on sale for 6.90. for these it is the patterns that are retiring not the colors. the exception to that is the 2020-2022 in colors which are retiring.

Friday Focus- Badger Bestie 

For this card:  

Basic White- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, Score at 4 1/4 

Gray Granite- 4 x 5 1 /4 

Neutral and 2020-2022 In Colors 6x6 DSp Packs

Basic White- 2 1/4 x 3 1/2- Stamp the Badger in Memento Black ink

Basic White- 1/2 x 2 1/4- stamp greeting anf cut ends at angle with Paper snips

1. Fold the Basic White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 on the 4 1/4 score line to create the card base

2. Attach the Gray Granite 4 x 5 1/4 to the card base 

3. Cut the Bumble Bee (from the 2020-2022 in color DSP Pack) 3/4 x 6 - then cut into 4 pieces ( any size)

Cut Gray Granite (from the Neutral 6x6 Designer series Paper pack)3/4 x 6 - then cut into 4 pieces ( any size)

Cut Basic Gray(from the Neutral 6x6 Designer series Paper pack)3/4 x 6 - then cut into 4 pieces ( any size)

4. Layer the Bumble bee, gray granite, and basic Gray to create the tiled back ground on the Gray Granite.

5. Stamp the Badger in Memento black ink on the Basic White 2 1/4 x 3 1/2, color with Smoky Slate blends and attach to the middle of the card.

6. Stamp greeting on the Basic White 1/2 x 2 1/4, then use paper snips to cut angle at both ends and attach to the card.

7. Finish by adding 1 rhinestone
