Project life Sunday- making memories

 

Hello and welcome back for Project life Sunday. Today I am sharing this project life layout using the making the memories card collection. This layout is from 2014 it is my son's senior he went to Solo and ensomble, I took these pictures of him practicing his saxophone before he went to perform. 

I added my pictures to the 4x6 cards so I can journal beside the picture. 

I am so happy to be catching up on my project life. I have 1/2 of 2014 done and I am at the same time working on my 2016 album. I just printed 700+ pictures for my 2016 album I need to get busy on getting tem in my album too.

June paper pumpkin alternative

 

Hello and Welcome back, for today's card I took June's paper pumpkin kit and I cut the card down and matted it on a piece of tip top taupe then I created a 2 x 4 1/4 whisper white tag. I took some of the washi from the June kit added it to the bottom of tag. I stamped happy Birthday from the June kits stamp set. Added some whisper white organza ribbon. Then I took scrap tip top taupe and peekaboo peach and I cute out swirls from the swirly scribbles framelits. Last thing is I layered it all on a whisper white card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. 

I love paper pumpkin and the surprise every month but some kits I get and just won't use as intended so I like making these alternative projects to share.

Thoughtful branches bundle day 5

Hello and Welcome back, Happy Friday! Today I am sharing with you my final card in this series using the thoughtful branch bundle. I love this card and it is so simple you can make the flower in any color. I think it makes a great Quick and cute card and you could just change the greeting to be any greeting. I am going to be announcing a class with this bundle on Monday.

Card Base  Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11, Scored at 5 1/2

1st Layer- 4x 5 1/4, Sweet Sugarplum

2nd Layer- 3 3/4 x , Whisper White using the old olive ink and stamp the grass at the bottom this piece.

Old Olive- 4 1/4 x 5 1/2- Cut the stem of the flower out using the framelit 

Sweet Sugarplum- 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 - Cut the top of the Flower out using the framelit.

stamp the greeting with memento black ink.

Thoughtful branches bundle day 4- You're in my thoughts

 

Hello and Welcome back, Today is day four of using the thoughtful branches stamp set. I am in love with this set and have seen so many great ideas using it. Stay turned for quick and cute card class announcement using the thoughtful branch bundle. Hope to have class posted by Monday. This is a great Spring thinking of you card. I made this card for a Stamp club card last Thursday. 

 

For this card....

Card Base  Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11, Scored at 5 1/2

1st Layer- 4x 5 1/4, Old Olive

2nd Layer- 3 3/4 x , Whisper White using old olive stamp the grass at the bottom of this piece.

 Pool Party Scrap- Punch the cloud using the tree builder punch

Real Red scrap- Cut out a bird using the bird framelit from this set.

Tip Top Taupe scrap- stamp the tree trunk in tip top taupe and then cut with matching framelit.

Whisper white 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 stamp the top of the tree and then cut out with matching framelit.

Thoughtful branches bundle day 3- Fall Thank you

 

Hello and welcome back, I knew once I see the thoughtful branches bundle that I wanted to make a fall card. I love fall it is my favorite time of the year. I love all the pretty colors of the leaves changing and I love when it is cold enough for a hoodie but not freezing. I so loved how this card turned out. I must say it is a favorite card of the series.

For this card....

Card Base  Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11, Scored at 5 1/2

1st Layer- 4x 5 1/4 , Real Red

2nd Layer- 3 3/4 x , Whisper White, used old olive ink and stamp the grass at the bottom, then I took a sponge and Old olive ink and sponged over that grass. 

Early Espresso 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, Cut a bare tree

Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and Real Red scraps - I cut out a bunch of leaves using the leaf framelit.

Project Life- sunshine wishes

 

Hello and welcome back for Project life sunday. Today I am sharing this layout of me and my hubby, I love how it turned out. I have wanted the word love to use in my project life layouts forever. We used to have a set and I missed buying it. So now when I see something I want to don't wait cause when it's gone it's gone. 

So when I see this set I k ew I had to have it and that it would make great cards and project life cards. 

Card -1- 3x4 I cut a piece of pop of pink dsp, then I cut the Love and the heart from the Sunshine wishes framelits out of melon mambo cardstock  and added to the project life card using snail.

  

Card -2- 3x4 I used a Project life grid card ( retired) I added pop of pink washi tape and then a black swirl and then journaled.

Hello and Welcome back, Today I have a quick and cute card made using Birthday Blooms stamp set. This card is great. Stamp images in black then color whatever color you want. Makes fast and great cards. 

 

For this card....

Card Base  Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11, Scored at 5 1/2

1st Layer- 4x 5 1/4, Peekaboo Peach

2nd Layer- 3 3/4 x , Whisper White, stamp the image and the greeting in memento black ink. Then color flower with peekboo peach and Emerald envy.

Sunshine Sayings

 

Hello and Welcome back, Today I have the quick and cute Happy birthday card. I knew I wanted something simple and with using the sunshine sayings stamp set. I also made this card using a get well theme for stamp club tonight. I hope the girls enjoy making this card. 

 

For this card....

Card Base  Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11, Scored at 5 1/2

1st Layer- 4x 5 1/4, Flirty Flamingo

2nd Layer- 3 3/4 x , Whisper whit, stamp stem and leaves in Pear Pizzaz and the Flowers and Greeting in Flirty Flamingo.

Whisper White scraps, stamp the flower in Flirty Flamingo then cut out using paper snips and then pop up using Dimensionals.
Finish the card with Rhinestones.
