Sharing some more project life

First let me say sorry for not having a post up for you earlier. I had a super busy week and was not able to get back to the computer and get them scheduled. So today I m going to share a few project life cards that I made for my son's high school album.
Card above is made using a retired hostess stamp set and the Skinny Mini  alphabet. The Hostess set I don't remember the name has keep calm and  then you can choose  stamp on, shop on etc. I cut the shop on so I could have just the on. I used the Skinny Mini to stamp the March and then used the on. I love this one and have made a few of them for my son's album to us in different places. I also added a few music notes to it.

For this set of 3 cards I picked one word and used the Skinny Mini alphabet to to stamp them then I used my project life Journaling pen and hand wrote the rest of the saying I used the Saxophone from a a retired stampin up set called All Jazzed up.

for this card I used skinny mini alphabet to stamp the word Jazz then I stamped a saxophone in black stazon.
In case you couldn't guess my son plays the Saxophone and has for 7 years. So this stamp set is gettingood a work out in this album.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tomorrow I am going to try and get  a couple completed layouts up for you. And stay tuned new Stampin up products are on there way. I will be having sneak peeks this week.

Project life layout

Today I have a quick post for you, I don't have a card for you today. I have been hard at work on my son's high school album. His graduation party is June 6th and I am trying to get Freshman,Sophomore and Junior year in his album. I have Freshman year and Sophomore year in his album and I have been going back and decorating and Journaling. I just got his Junior pictures in the mail yesterday so I will work on getting them in his album.
So I am doing his high school album as a project life album which is awesome and so fast. Only problem, and it's not really a problem is there is not much out there for project life Music/ band and that's what my son's albums mostly are.
So I went to a local scrapbook store and. I bought some school paper and Music paper. I then purchases a retired stampin up Stamp set called All Jazzed up and I purchases two CTMH music sets. So with Stampin up project life grid cards, Skinny Mini alphabet stamp sets. And my other Music sets. I have begun making my own project life cards. I have made a few of each as I can use them on other years.
So now today's layout is a Band concert Freshman year. I created the Band concert with the Skinny Mini alphabet then I stamped the saxophone and trumpet onto the card around the title. I took a 3x4 lined project life card for my Journaling and I stamped music notes. Then I glued it to a 4x6 piece of music paper.
You have to love those project life framelits.

Blue Ribbon- Graduation cards

Welcome back, Today I have for you two cards that I made using the Blue Ribbon stamp set that is also on the retired list. As you know my son Zac is a Senior this year so he has some friends who are also graduating in a few weeks. Wow that is coming up fast.
So Zac school colors are red and gray. So I made these two different cards. the only real difference is I made the one with the music note added for his friends in Band.

                                                Close up of card one
Close up of card two with the music note.

So while I had everything out I decided to make a project life card to use in his album. I took a piece of paper I found locally with his school name on it and I cute it down using the Project life framelits and then I added the Music Blue Ribbon.
